Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Rise app. By creating an account or using Rise, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what happens under your account. You must be able to legally agree to these terms to use Rise.

Subscription & billing

Rise is a paid subscription app, billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, if applicable. We don't process refunds directly — refund requests for App Store purchases go through Apple.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Rise for anything illegal, or to harass or harm anyone else
• Attempt to bypass, abuse, or overload Rise's servers, rate limits, or verification systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app beyond what's permitted by law
• Use another person's account without permission

App locking

Rise's app-locking feature restricts apps you yourself choose, on your own device, using Apple's Screen Time controls. It's a self-control tool — you're always in control of which apps are selected and when locking is turned on, and Rise never restricts anything without your setup.

Disclaimer

Rise is provided "as is." While we build it to be reliable, no alarm app — including one built on real system alarms — can guarantee it will wake you up under every possible condition (a dead phone, a fully silenced device beyond what the OS allows overriding, an OS-level failure, etc). Don't rely on Rise as your only safeguard for something where being late has serious consequences.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as Rise changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
